President' Address
Greetings,

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to connect with all of you through this web page. My name is Zachary D. Lucas, and I have embarked on a remarkable journey that began at John L. LeFlore High School in Mobile, AL. It was there that my firm foundation in leadership was set in academics and athletics.
Continuing my education at Tuskegee University, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where my passion for golf truly blossomed. Golf ceased to be just a hobby; it became a profound passion that would later enable me to empower others. Inspired by my experiences and fueled by my desire to make a difference, I set out to organize the Black Elite Golfers (B.E.G.).
B.E.G., a non-profit organization, stands as a testament to my dedication to fostering brotherhood among like-minded individuals while actively supporting underserved and underrepresented communities. Our primary objective is to create a platform where individuals can come together, share their love for golf, and support each other's aspirations.
Through B.E.G., I have successfully combined my passion for golf with my commitment to making a positive impact on society. Our efforts are focused on uplifting local communities and providing opportunities for young adults to pursue their dreams of attending college. B.E.G. raises funds through various initiatives, including our annual scholarship program, which aims to support deserving scholars in their educational journey.
My leadership and vision have been instrumental in the growth of B.E.G. My unwavering dedication and genuine concern for others have inspired countless individuals to join the cause and make a difference. B.E.G. continues to thrive, creating a positive impact on both the golfing community and the communities it serves. I am truly grateful for the members of B.E.G. and all of the individuals who have supported our various initiatives.
As the founder of the B.E.G. community, I am proud to be part of an organization that values education, brotherhood, and the transformative power of golf. Together, we can make a difference, one swing at a time. I am excited to see where our collective efforts will take us as we continue to foster brotherhood, support our communities, and empower young adults through the love of golf.

Eternally Grateful,

Zachary D. Lucas
